Organizational Behavior and Leadership Style Abstract: This paper examines the leadership position I would occupy in the fictional Commerzbank and details the leadership style I would take on as their VP of Development. As VP, I would emphasize a transformational leadership style, as that style would encourage my members of staff and the company at large to evolve to their highest potential. I would also encourage an atmosphere of transparency for the good of the company at large. I would also incorporate emotionally intelligent leadership, so as to foster an environment of acceptance and teamwork. These factors would no doubt bolster the development of the company, driving it into the next century. If I were working for a company such as Commerzbank AG and were able to select the position that I felt best suited me, I would select the job as VP of development. Such a position would give me more power and autonomy than a manager, but would still allow me to oversee and supervise the members of staff in my department as managers do. The biggest draw of this position would be its ability to direct the company towards innovation and expansion. Three years ago, I never would have imagined I would be who I am today. Three years ago, I enrolled Norton High School, terrified of the unknown, but now, I am excited for the unknown. For I know myself better, as do I understand the world around me now. I never comprehended such a simple activity called marching band, would have impacted my outlook on life forever. As an only girl in my family, besides my mother, I did not have many people to bond with growing up, since my younger brothers did not want to play with me. I was a shy and independent child, hated group projects, loved the solitude of myself and my thoughts. Therefore, often times I was seen as shy and soft-spoken. I was also a dancer, a saxophonist, and a vocalist at the time and loved music; however, I did not think I would pursue any music career after high school. This behavior I thought was normal, continued into my freshman year of high school. . . and it did not help that I was transferring to a brand new school with brand new people. Though I was terrified of the new life to come, one thing stayed consistent which was my love for music. Perlakuan yang tidak seimbang ini acap kali terjadi diberbagai lapisan masyarakat. Alasannya sangat jelas dan belum berubah, yaitu karena budaya yang turun temurun dan mendarah daging dan sudah ada selama beribu tahun , dimana dunia terjebak dalam konsep bahwa wanita akan selalu berada dibawah kekuasaan pria. Bukan tanpa sebab jika wanita memerlukan pendidikan yang tinggi. Karena para wanita ini akan menjadi sekolah pertama bagi anak-anak mereka kelak. Wanita memiliki peran penting dalam kehidupan ini, yaitu dalam peningkatan kualitas generasi muda . T anpa wanita, pria pun tidak akan bisa berdiri dengan sukses. Sebab, dibalik pria sukses sudah pasti ada wanita hebat yang berdiri disampingnya. Dengan demikian, sudah seharusnya kita membuka mata dan pikiran kita untuk selalu memberikan ruang kebebasan agar para wanita bisa memperoleh hak nya untuk menempuh pendidikan setinggi mungkin. Kita juga harus merubah stigma yang beranggapan wanita tidak perlu bersekolah tinggi. Mengingat, seorang wanita adalah pendidik pertama dan utama. Sudah menjadi takdir bahwa seorang wanitalah yang akan melahirkan, membesarkan, dan mendidik seorang anak. Para wanita hebat ini juga m embantu tumbuh kembang generasi penerus bangsa yang secara alamiah memiliki keterikatan batin yang sangat kuat antara diri mereka sendiri dan anak mereka . Namun amat disayangkan, ruang gerak perempuan dibatasi oleh perspektif yang kurang adil dalam kedudukan mereka sebagaimana mestinya, termasuk dalam hal pendidikan. Masih ada segelintir wanita yang memegang teguh budaya dan pengukuhan bahwa mereka tidak butuh pendidikan yang tinggi, sebab pada akhirnya, mereka akan berujung bergulat di dapur. Tujuan Dalam penulisan ini, penulis mengidentifikasi beberapa ketidakadilan terhadap kaum wanita, khususnya di bidang pendidikan. Juga agar pembaca dapat memahami dan terbuka pikirannya bahwasanya wanita sangat perlu pendidikan yang tinggi dengan tidak membeda-bedakan dan bersikukuh pada budaya yang sudah turun temurun tersebut . Dari pemahaman tersebut muncullah paham mengenai perbedaan - perbedaan pria dan wanita.
